CMM Training

Our CMM training courses are customer focused. We aim to deliver a unique package based on your existing needs and requirements. By offering CMM Training using your own components, we are able to flexibly tailor the required features and inspection capabilities of the CMM software, to best match your components quality requirements.

As a further bonus, the CMM programs that are written during the CMM Training Course, can be used to measure your current production components. Furthermore, the CMM Programs can often be used as a basis or foundation for other CMM programs.

You paying for expert knowledge and understanding of CMM programming techniques and qualities that best suit your entire manufacturing process and not just a certificate of compliance or basic understanding.

The aim is always to maximise the potential of all trainees to the best and highest capabilities that they can realistically achieve. Far too often, we are approached by businesses, to provide further training to those that have received training elsewhere because the training that they received, failed to deliver (in many cases), even a basic understanding of CMM programming. This having left the trainees overwhelmed and disappointed and the management frustrated, in the disbelief that the trainees still cannot fulfil the CMM programming tasks.

Our in-depth training ensures that all required or essential aspects of the CMM software are covered, but also ensures that the trainee is not bombarded with information that is either outside of the scope of their capabilities, or indeed, needs.

Our CMM training courses, is for up to a maximum of three people. Unless this is a specific request, we will never, have trainees from other businesses attending the CMM training course at the same time. This ensures that the training is focused more specifically to your own requirements and the trainees skill level. This in turn allows more of a 'one-to-one' approach.

We are experienced in most manufacturing sectors and industries, which include; Aerospace, Defence, Formula 1, Pharmaceuticals, Plastics, Satellites and all Transport industries. The resulting factor, being that our experience of a wide range of manufactured components means we are able to transfer and relate to the issues and aspects surrounding the CMM inspection processes and identify the pitfalls or problematic areas during the measurement operation. For instance this could be; restraining or holding components, or minimal contact of fixtures allowing maximum access for measurement.

Our 'Entry Level' covers all aspects needed up to and including writing a small CMM Program. Our 'Intermediate Level' covers more of an in-depth knowledge of CMM Programming and at the 'Advanced Level', trainees should be able write a CMM Program off-line directly from a CAD model.
